I decided to have a bit of a day shooting and processing photos from my Bencini Comet S
The Bencini Comet S is a 127 roll film camera from the very early 1950's
It is about as simple a camera as they come, 1/50th of a second or bulb are the only shutter speeds, f11 the only aperture!

It takes 4x3 half frame photos on 127 film, but since there doesnt seem to be half frame markings on the backing of the Efke 100 film I only managed to get 8 shots instead of the possible 16! ...

The Voigtlander Vitomatic IIa is a compact 35mm fixed lens rangefinder camera.



There were quite a few variations of the vitomatic, some with rangefinders, some without, some with f/3.5 lenses, some with f/2 lenses.
This one, is a iia with a Color-Skopar f/2.8 50mm lens.
It has a Prontor SLK shutter with speeds 1/1-1/500 and bulb.
The rangefinder is coupled, and quite clear ...

Another one of my collection ... The 'Spartus "35 f" Model 400'



This is without doubt one of the most simple cameras I own!
It has a single shutter speed "inst" which i would guess to be about 1/50th as well as a bulb or "time". The shutter is fired by a lever on the side of the lens. There are 3 aperture settings, f/16, f/11 and f/7.7 there is also a f/7.7 with a yellow filter labeled ...

The Kodak Retina IIa is a rangefinder camera made in the early 1950's
It is a folder and is actually fairly compact when folded, fitting in my jeans pockets with not to much of a squeeze
