Golden Wonder Security Trying "Badly" to stop some chap taking photos of there factory from a public footpath. Its quite funny to be honest, clearly the security are / where useless and didn't have a clue about what they were saying, as for that attitudes & bad languages. IMO they need to retrain there staff

jobsworth indeed, but that bloke is being a bit of a prat just hanging around waiting for them to have a go ...
the cuts in the video where the security were not there were surely enough time to take his shots and move on ...
Dont get me wrong, im all for freedom to take shots where ever you like etc, but being a persistent nuisance (even when you are in the right) is just a bit odd IMO!

I agree, politely tell them to Fcuk off, take your photos and move on, there is no point arguing the toss wasting your time and breath. But it just shows how the companies don't train there staff, regardless of there knowledge of the guys rights her attitude and way she approaches and goes about "doing her job" was almost unbelievable bad in every way.

Just hope the guy who took the vid sent a copy into the management, tbf they maynot even know this sort of thing actually goes on right under their noses. publish and be damned I say.......private eye Ian Hislop hasn't done badly out of that conecept now has he?

One of the things that amused me about this vid was trying to imagine the kind of conversation that was going on inside the building as the security folks watched the guy continue to stand there and take pics against orders. It must have been hilarious!

I agree about the guys motives for doing it but even so it certainly made me laugh. In many ways what this guy has done is to bring more light onto the subject.

I run into situations like this on a fairly regular basis. Security guards (perhaps for lack of anything better to do) invariably get excited when they see a camera and demand you stop taking photos. Usually, their own management reins them in, so it's not even their own boss who's told them to prevent people from taking photos. They make it up themselves. In this case, I would have encouraged the guards to call the police or go away. I agree that he was provoking them and I usually don't do that. I try to always be polite. But in this case, I can see why he would have stayed on to make a point. Getting harassed constantly isn't right and it's good to make an example out of it sometimes.
