Blimey, that does look cold. I like the feel of these very much, Dave. Even the light looks cold.
Very familiar, Dave. Same weather here. Ffffreeeeezing!
only a little chilly. gives an eerie look to the scene. it's cold on our side of the pond too.
Thank you folks. Yes Beth, just chilly, nothing like the cold in the U.S.

The ice is broken, as are the shores of the pond. It's nicely repetitive in a subtle way. Great catch!
And come in now, it's too cold outside!
I meant to ask before, Dave, is that a dew pond?
I really don't miss that kind of cold much. Mind you it is hovering around 30C here most days. Thank you for the reminder of what cold looks like Dave, nice pair of images.
It's like a stormy atmosphere. I can feel from here. But the scenario is beautiful.
Looks like too much cold at that place! I can feel freeziness here by seeing your pictures!
Yes, it is a dew pond. There are a number of them on the South Downs.
Nice Black and White photos. Loved it. #2 The deep sky is looking awesome.
I've never seen one with water in, just as depressions. There's one near The Long Man isn't there?
