Alphabet photography

    How about this for an interesting idea....

    I didn't take this picture, but thought I'd pass it on as an interesting idea for a project.
    The idea is to make an alphabet or a word or phrase or name using photos of natural shapes that resemble letters of the alphabet.

    As an aside to this...I saw someone else doing something similar at the Bath Christmas Market recently. I would have given him some free publicity and posted his details, but when I asked him if he had a website he said, "No, I don't put anything on the internet...it only gets stolen if you do!"
    A shame...

    My wife has a poster hanging in her sewing room that has close up photos of butterfly wings with all the letters of the alphabet and numbers zero thru 9. Very cool.

    This is a similar poster I found on the web. Same photos as my wife's but in a different layout.

    I imagine this sort of thing would be good or honing observational skills!
    Maybe this could work as a theme for sometime next year!?
