Darwin. The Tree Of Life:
SDQuattro 30mm 1.4
Clearly he evolved from Santa Claus!
I love these sorts of details. I must see what I can come up over the next few days.
Thanks for the inspiration, Rob.
Cheers, Pete. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I might do some more.
I love that cute Santa! I really love that photo! Please share some more pictures of Christmas, if possible!
That's not Santa. It's Charles Darwin, father of the science of evolution, which disproved the creationist view of the Bible. In his manuscripts he drew a tree, showing how species evolve over time. This became known as the Tree of Life, which I allude to above the photo.
Hang on a minute, you mean it's Charles Darwin that fills the stockings every year?! And where on earth does he get all those satsumas from - I haven't seen a single elf on his diagram?!
Ah, you've got me there, Pete. Another theory bites the dust (to dust).
so the man who drew a tree is now hanging from a tree? sweet, he's come full circle!
The moral is, be careful what you draw!
Hieronymus Bosch must be having fun these days!
