Rob - timeless is a good description

The problem with going wider would be that wider lenses tend to make things like buildings 'lie down' and appear flatter - not sure if that would get you such a good comp?

Timeless....I really MUST stop there some day instead of just driving by...

Cheers, Dougie. It is well worth stopping for. One of my favourite photo op places.

One day, I took a trip to this forum, today and I find this which is everything everyone has said. And it's not even taken with a Merrill. On my next trip to Edinburg I shall do my research through Robs photography and try to see those places through my lens. They may appear mostly in colours though since I am poor when it comes to black and white.

Thanks, Ivar. It would be great to see you in Edinburgh. I should start Edinburgh Photography Days...hmm...

Thanks and absolutely. Maybe you should combine music and photography in some form including Edinburg. Just a thought, could be a business proposition. You could do it.;):)
