The streets of Downtown Encinitas are rockin’ and rollin’ every 3rd Thursday night June through September.

Hot rods, Woodies and other classic and vintage cars line S. Coast Highway 101 from D Street to J Street - bands play surf music and rock and roll, and the restaurants do a roaring trade as folks wander the main street checking out the cool rides.

Last night was the last car night of the summer, so everyone made one last effort to show and go - it was quite the event.

Here are a few shots from the evening.

Incredible collection, Chris. Good choices go colour or B&W throughout. Lots of good details and comps.

Another great mix of shots Chris. Any idea of the story behind the RIP on the bike?

Love the soft tones of the colour ones especially Chris!
Tell me this though ... Are you posting shots to scoop.it? Have you seen all the link backs at the bottom of the page

Thanks everyone - much happier with my PP after watching a few instructional NIK videos and getting some new ideas on workflow.

Amazing what you can learn if you watch the training materials!

Pete - the bike's owner wasn't around to ask so we didn't get the back-story

Hamish - I submitted this thread to Scoop.it - and they published it, hence the link-backs and traffic
