I do hope those of you who have a special someone in your life, who you can still be close to, while staying apart from all others, appreciate how blessed you are to have them.

I give thanks that I live near the edge of a national park and have the ability to walk the hills....

That is it - bit said.

Here's today's pictures taken while getting Boris-approved exercise:

Well said, young man! Looks like you are getting some great exercise. I am imagine those bare hills can be cold, though, but the colours are beautiful.

Thank you folks. Was not cold today, can be sometimes.
It was good exercise, good for morale too.
Either those hills are getting bigger or I am getting older! :)

For a Scott these ripples can hardly be called Ups, can they?

It's a known fact that in time hills get bigger. At least here in the NL. :D

You have a hill - in the Netherlands? Was it made by a mole or a gopher? :D

I still laugh at a tourist brochure for the Netherlands which said, "Come and see our flat landscape!" Well, we did, and it was indeed flat.

I miss the South Downs a lot. Though not tall, they have some of the steepest slopes I have ever climbed. Especially in some of the wooded areas - the reason they have trees is because they are too steep for sheep. Or shepherds.

Great images, David. And the bit you said was spot on.

Thank you Chris. Yes, some of those slopes are steep, particularly the scarp slopes on the northern side. I do have to pause to get my breath back a few times while getting to the top.
