Taken on the way back to California from Arizona Sunday evening - this was taken on the old Hwy 80 in Ocotillo, CA. The sun had been down for about 15-20 mins at the point.

Taken with the Fuji GFX with in-camera pano crop applied.
    120mm lens at f/16

Fabulous colour there Chris. Is the haze from smoke?

    Thank you Karishma
Thank you Pete - too far west for smoke - but the same weather system was blowing hard and picking up sand from the dunes south of the Salton Sea, and that gave me the haze.

    Ohh! 20 mins. :(
Still, the colors are there so, looking good! Good try!

Waiting for twilight was intentional to lower the over-all dynamic range, and allow the shadow shading to really show through.

Having the sun in frame would have been a real challenge

That is a great one, the differing shades of purple work very well.
