Sigma Quattro 21 : 9 Format

    Sorry I don't have images for you, but a friend of mine in Zurich sent me a few photos he took a couple of weeks ago of Salt Lake. I thought he was having me on when I saw them as they were clearly from a very wide-angle camera, and a film camera at that.

    It turns out they were taken with the Quattro DP2 with the format of 21:9. They look AMAZING!

    Aaarrrggghhhhh!

    He also said that, after shooting film for fifty years, he has finally found a digital camera that he can work with. He teaches photography in Zurich.

    Thanks for this. The idea of a Sigma dp-Q as digital panoramic camera is very, very hard to resist. I was so taken by this thread I even blogged about it :)

    yeah, I'd post a photo of it if I had the energy to get it out of the box.... Actually, I will. Then I could say I'd posted at least one interesting photo this year.
