    That is a dramatic set of pictures, they do capture the trees struggle to survive in harsh conditions. Very good.

    The second image, taken just before sunset was not composed quite as I would have liked but the desire to exclude my shadow was almost as great as my need to not fall of the cliff!

    Having taken many pics on hills and clifftops in the late afternoon, I know exactly what you mean! :)

    I haven't been up there for years and I'd forgotten how 'alien' it can look. Super series though and I love that second shot.

    At certain times of the year, and from certain angles, you wouldn't need to convert to B&W!
