Very 1st film photo

    Who among us has never photographed a swan? Especially for a test shot. They are so beautiful and graceful, but we don't treasure them so much as they are commonly found. Very nice.

    Yes, K1000. I do still have it, but it needs some work.

    That was my first camera too. Looking back, I got some nice shots with it:

    It is a good camera. Worth getting fixed.

    Definitely. I'm impressed - I would have no clue where to look for my first film shot. Although I have a whole shelf of archive boxes of negatives (actually dated etc) I'm pretty sure it would pre-date them. I reckon it would have been taken with a waterproof Nikon that I used to carry in my motorcycle jacket pocket.

    I had moved a couple years ago and had decided to go through my vast assemblage of photo albums. Deciding to scan the ones I wanted to keep, then divide the remainder to my children. I came across the album, I had set aside for my 1st year photos. It is good fun to look back and compare where I am today photographically.
