Madrona Park. Seattle, Washington.
Holga 120N with Fomapan 400 film processed in Rodinal.
That soft fall off at the edges of the tree and the people really adds to the mystery of the gathering Brian. I like the deep shadows on the tree branches and stem.
Wonderful atmosphere, Brian and another cinematic mystery. Surveilling a clandestine gang meeting? Love the movement in the tree too.
As above. A really intriguing shot. I really like this one. Has me wondering who they are, and why they chose to congregate by the tree.
Or maybe it's a DST: a bit like a DSG, but it moves slower!
Thanks Wes. The Holga is a special machine. It excels when it comes to fall off at the edges.
Thanks Pete. It was a gang meeting of some sort, though there was nothing menacing about it. Much appreciated Pete.
I was wondering exactly the same things at the time, Rob. The mystery was never solved. Thanks Rob.
Didn't know those existed. I'll have to be more careful in future.
