The Triffids are planning their attack.

A fine composition. I like the layers of tones, growing darker towards the foreground.

Ah, I’ve just finished reading The Day of the Triffids - it was Triffic! Much better than the TV version from the 70s (?).

    If it starts to walk…

Wonderfully dark and menacing. No more long, relaxing baths then!

Yeah, and these days, even if you can get the water, you wouldn't be able to afford to heat it! ;)

At first I thought the alien was tickling a phone! What a wonderful image.

Yes, it does look like an old-fashioned (= best) phone, hence the conversation alluded to in the title. Glad there was someone around here intelligent enough to get that!:D

So this 'phone' you have in the bathroom, do you talk to a lot of people on it?

So that's what people mean when they say "Give me a tinkle".

Doesn’t everyone have a phone in their shower?!

Well, I have heard of "talking to God on the great white telephone", that happens in the bathrooom.
