I found this green anole trying to hide behind a twig. I went into the house to get the camera and see if I could capture a few images (I nabbed a few with the phone camera I'll post later on). Slowly I approached trying to minimize any sudden moves. I got into position and set up for the shot. He obviously knew I was there and may have seen his reflection in the lens. After getting a few more shot later, he grew a bit impatient with me and decided to express that displeasure with a final salute before disappearing into the bushes. I think I got "the finger" from a lizard!! :wait:
Thank you for your comments, folks. I do enjoys these critters -- photographically and for their value of eating the bugs in the yard (especially mosquitos)
