I've been noodling around with double exposures as a diversion, of late. And I have been having great fun with it. Here are a few...
What a fascinating and effective set, Chris. The star is clearly the last, bit I also really like the Ferrari / masked ladies shot and the the alleyway into the young lady's thoughts! And the match between the lips on the lady texting and the chimney of the oven!
Wonderful images, Chris. Very entertaining and engaging, with some many details to observe. Good photography.
Thank you both. I really enjoy planning the way I hope it will come out. Once I worked out the different way that the highlights and the shadows react to the treatment, the whole exercise became much more fun and interesting.
This one was the first I took after I had worked out what's going on with highlights and shadows. For my first exposure, I stood right behind the gent and took a wide close-up of his patterned shirt, Next, I stood back a couple of metres and shot him again.
I tried to put the Ferrari into a skip and failed... ...but not everyone has put a skip into a Ferrari.
Using the guy with the palm trees on his shirt earlier gave me a idea, so I tried using fabrics and other things in shop displays to create interesting new worlds.
The first has a sci-fi quality, and a bit creepy. Not convinced by others, but that first one is excellent.
That is a wonderful set of images, they create a huge variety of feelings while viewing them. I really like the Ferrari, has a punk feel to it, the film "Jubillee" came to mind as soon as I saw it.
