I took this a while ago and just getting round to publishing the images. We were on safari in Senegal driving reasonably slowly trying to spot some Giraffe and suddenly to our rear this two beautiful creature appeared. They were just being curious we were in no danger or so our driver said.

nicely captured. this has a soft, painterly look to it, was that done in post?

Almost a CGI look Steve - lovely capture

    Hi Chris

Thinking on it I used the x 100 for this shot. It was just prior to getting the x pro 1

It is very soft and painterly, Steve. I thought it was a diorama at first. Very nice.

That is a great shot Steve. You got that close with an X100. Impressed.
