Berlin: 1936 Olympic Stadium. November 2016
You have a good eye sir! Monumental architecture and a plastic chair - in a strange way they compliment each other.
I took that before we entered the stadium and I chuckled to myself at the thought of this single, lonely, yet moveable chair, clumsily placed, probably not far removed from being a piece of litter, while inside those walls were seventy five thousand seats bolted down and forming orderly lines of absolute precision.
Good eye, indeed, and a sense of humour. I like it!
Just for the sake of completeness, here is a taste of what does lie within...
Pick a seat...any seat you like!
That's the original Olympic flame cauldron in the last photo.
Great share where good eye is perfectly seen
That is an impressive piece of architecture, has a purity of form. Your last two images are really good, love them.
Great series of photos! The chair in the first image
