I've trodden quite a few of these over the past 12 months or so and have come to the conclusion, I am a bit of a tree-aholic!

Every location you've shared today looks familiar. This reminds me the woods near Dunkeld. Beautiful, wherever it is. Good to have you back, Dave!

Very pleasant image, Dave. MAkes you want to take a stroll along that path.

Nothing wrong with a bit of woodland addiction. I'm sure @Chris Bennett would agree. And that is a rather fine shot. Full of interesting texture and shadows.

    It is rather nice!
Woodland photography does have its set of challenging problems - always a treat to see a nice example.

Thanks Pete, I must say I've become quite keen on a bit of woodland photography

Thanks Chris, it sure does. I get back home sometimes and look at a photo and wonder what the hell I was looking at :D
