Wisteria (in 590nm InfraRed)

I decided to wander the neighborhood with my converted gx85. I shot the wisteria earlier in the week using the Mamiya 645 loaded with Kodak Gold 200 but we'll have to wait for those.

That blue sky is really vivid, Gary. And the pink is so delicate. Very interesting.

I did a couple of shots with different white balance which makes a considerable difference with IR. Then I process by doing a red/blue channel swap. I also dialed back the exposure and cranked up the contrast. In normal viewing the wisteria is a lavender color and not pink at all. Generally the 590nm will turn green to white. Here's another shot of a house in the neighborhood.

Thanks Stevenson! It is very weird but of all the shots from this afternoon it was the most striking once I was done with the channel swaps (which typically bring the sky back to a normal hue).

To be fair, once I did the channel swap I also cut my exposure and bumped up the contrast which gave me the vivid blue.
